Who we are

The Covenant Call (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides marriage coaching and faith-based resources. Our website address is: https://thecovenantcall.com.

Consultations & Appointments

When you request or schedule a consultation with us, we collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, and any specific details you provide regarding the nature of your request. This data is used solely to schedule the appointment, send you confirmation and reminder notifications, and facilitate the consultation itself.

If we use a third-party service to manage our schedule, your information may be processed by that service in accordance with their own privacy policy. We retain consultation records for administrative purposes and to better serve you in future interactions, but we do not share this sensitive information with outside parties for marketing purposes.

SMS & Appointment Reminders

By providing your phone number when booking an appointment, you consent to receive text message (SMS) reminders and notifications regarding your scheduled services. We use this solely for transactional purposes (e.g., “Your appointment is tomorrow”). You may opt-out of receiving text messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any message or contacting us directly. We do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.

Donations

When you make a donation through our website, we collect personal information necessary to process the transaction and comply with legal requirements. This typically includes your name, billing address, email address, and donation amount.

Payment Processing: We do not store your full credit card details or bank account information on our servers. All financial transactions are handled securely by our third-party payment processors (e.g., PayPal, Stripe). These processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council.

Donor Privacy: We use your contact information to send you a receipt for tax purposes and to thank you for your support. We are committed to donor privacy; we will not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to other organizations or mailing lists.

Cookies

We do not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising purposes. However, we do use “functional” cookies that are strictly necessary for our website features to work correctly.

Donations (Givebutter): Our donation forms are powered by Givebutter. When you interact with these forms, Givebutter may set cookies to securely process your transaction, prevent fraud, and track the referral source of the donation. These are third-party cookies governed by Givebutter’s own privacy policy.

Scheduling: If you use our online scheduling system (LatePoint) to book an appointment, the system uses temporary cookies to remember your selections—such as your chosen service, time slot, and contact details—as you move through the booking steps. These cookies are used solely for the functionality of the booking form.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

How long we retain your data

We retain different types of information for varying periods based on the purpose for which we collected it and our legal obligations.

Consultation Requests: Information you provide when scheduling a consultation (name, email, phone number, and consultation details) is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the consultation and for a reasonable period afterward to address any follow-up questions. We typically retain these records for one year after the last consultation.

User Accounts: If you register an account or book an appointment on our website, we create a secure customer profile to help you manage your bookings. We store the personal information you provide (such as name, email, and phone) in your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time by logging into your customer cabinet or contacting us.

Donations: Donation records, including your name, email address, and donation amount, are retained indefinitely for accounting, tax reporting, and legitimate organizational purposes. We do not retain credit card information—only the transaction record and your contact details.

Security of Your Data

We take the security of your personal information seriously. We use SSL encryption (HTTPS) to protect data transmitted between your browser and our servers. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

Your Rights

You can request that we update, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will make reasonable efforts to comply with your request, provided we are not required to retain the information by law, for legitimate business purposes, or to comply with tax and charitable giving regulations.
